Doggie Days Policies

• Reservations can be made online. If you need additional assistance, you may call 706-693-2000. 
• All dogs must be at least 14 weeks of age for all services.  
• If using an online booking, you must upload your current veterinary records before reservation can be confirmed. You will receive an email confirmation. If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours of submission, please call the number above to confirm.
• We require a credit card for Holidays, Boarding and Daycare.
• A $50 non-refundable deposit is required for all holiday bookings.

A request for reservation is not a guaranteed reservation. If you do not receive an email confirmation, you do not have a reservation. 

DOGGIE DAYS understands life happens and unavoidable problems occur, but to ensure smooth operations for both clients and staff we remind everyone to be considerate when needing to cancel appointments or services.

Holiday books are especially crucial for bookings and cancellations.

• You may cancel a holiday bookings up to 2 weeks before your reservation in order to receive a refund for your deposit.
• If within the 2 week period before your reservation, you will not receive a refund and your reservation will be given to the next reservation request.

Daycare Drop Off is 7:30 am - 11:30 am. Please allow enough time for your drop off as there is usually more than one client checking in at a time.

Please be mindful of Pick Up times. Late Pick ups have extra charges.

Before any pet can enter our facility, they MUST have current vaccine records on file.  Vaccine records can be uploaded to your online account or you may have your veterinarian email records to doggiedays@comcast.net

Vaccines should be given at least 72 hours before arrival.

DOGS

• Rabies (1-3yr)
• DHPP/Parvo/Distemper (1-3yr)
• Bordetella/Kennel Cough - must be given every 6 months (We can administer it here $25)

CATS

• Rabies (1-3yr)
• Feline Distemper
• Feline Leukemia

We do NOT accept records from breeders or in home vaccines. Records must be given by a veterinary professional. 

Dogs must be over 14 weeks of age in order to attend Daycare, Grooming, or Boarding. 

A Temperament Test is a one time requirement for all Daycare dogs. The test is administered by our staff and typically takes about 4 hours. The cost is $22 in addition to the standard daycare fee. New dogs need to stay with us a minimum of 4 hours so we can evaluate how they respond to other dogs, our staff, and new environments. If your dog should not pass the test, we can still Kennel them, but they cannot have playgroup with other dogs.  This is for the safety of all dogs and staff.

Holiday bookings fill up quickly. It is recommended to book your reservations a few weeks in advance. Please remember a deposit will be requested to hold your reservations. A credit card may be requested to hold a reservation. If your deposit is not paid, your reservations will be added to our wait-list until your deposit is paid.

Playgroups

• Daycare and Daycare with Overnight Boarding - the dogs will be grouped with other dogs of similar sizes. 

Boarding 

• Dogs will not have Playgroup but will have plenty of outside and inside time.

Required Solo Play

• Dogs that are not spayed or neutered 
• Dogs that did not pass the temperament test must be kenneled alone.

If any dog presents as aggressive to humans, that dog will be only handled by their owner and services will be refused. 

Fleas Policy

• Any pet found with fleas will immediately be given a Capstar. This pill kills fleas on your pet within 30 minutes and keeps them off for at least 24 hours keeping our facility and boarders flea free. Capstar is an add'l $6

Heart worm Positive Dogs

• If your dog has tested positive for heart worms, DOGGIE DAYS recommends you board them at a vets office for their safety.

Open Wounds

• If your pet has an open wound, the pet parent needs to inform staff at drop off.
• DOGGIE DAYS prefers the pet parent to see a veterinarian. DOGGIE DAYS will not accept liability for a pet with a wound. 

Any medication that your pet may require has to be in the ORIGINAL prescription bottle from your veterinarian. We can refrigerate any medications or special food your pet needs. Please remember ALL food must be in a container with lid. This is a requirement of Department of Agriculture.

There is a $3/day/pet medication administration fee.
